Would this ad work on you? (It would work on me.) I went to Puerto Rico this past summer for the second time in my life, and it was an absolute blast. Old San Juan is worth a visit, and so are the islands rainforests and many beaches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everywhere you’d travel in Puerto Rico, you’ll find a rich love for the island and a great respect for the wildlife. In this blog, I’ll include some photos from my own trip, and encourage you to visit as well if you’re able! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first thing you’ll notice in this paradise U.S. territory are the views that surround the island. The first image above is the view from the Islands most historic downtown area, and the other two are pictures I took directly from the resort my family stayed at. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everywhere you go on this island, there is something beautiful to snap a photo of, a kind local to speak with, a lizard to see, or some amazing food to try. I had never had ceviche before going on this trip, and ill never forget that first bite when it became my new favorite food. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did I forget to mention the diversity of wildlife? My apologies. As a girl who loves animals, one of my top favorite things about Puerto Rico are the animals you will find walking every street. From a pigeon-packed park, to lizards and crabs by the beach, or walking alongside wild cats and chickens. They. Are. Everywhere. I had many interactions that I wish I had snapped photos of while on this trip. Once I had found a crab walking around inside the hotel, and used a Croc shoe to get him back to the nearest beach! Later in the trip, my family did a small hike to a water hole up in the rainforest, and these tiny little fish came up to my hands and toes as I sat very still and began to nip at my dead skin. It was a bit ticklish, but I did get a free cuticle trim out of it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All in all, this is absolutely a worthwhile visit, and to the college students out there, the legal drinking ate here is 18! It was amazing to be able to participate in everything my family did, and live in paradise for a week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
