All of the techniques I listed in my last two blog posts are commonly used in film making. There were a few things that would be more complicated than I thought, such as training myself to pay attention to the movie clips without visual or sound. Gathering every aspect I could from that experience required me to re-watch or listen twice without combining the lements yet. The research was easier than I thought it would be, though, since I already had some background knowledge after taking a cinema studies class. There was nothing about this assignment that quite drove me crazy besides the fact that I procrastinated.
