Each of these posts apply the design elements we have been learning in different ways. I learned a lot from this assignment. I think the most influential one was my Back to basics post. I think I had become too fixated on “perfect” design that I forgot it is all around us, and decided to have fun designing something in this sense.
Each of these posts were an absolute joy to craft, sharing my stories and digital work is what I love to do. There was nothing that really drove me crazy or stressed me out this time, and I enjoyed every minute of figuring out which designs looked good and which did not. The most tedious part of this for me was slightly annoying and that was how much time I had spent on the game designing that house.
The poetry post was harder than I thought it would be due to the fact that I had to make some very unsuccessful designs. I had already known many principles of design including text, spacing, the background, message theme. Because of this, it almost made me cringe to make what felt like “incorrect” designs.
