This post is so peak…pun intended! Watch this video as I go through the gameplay of one of my favorite games, PEAK. This is a co-op climbing game where up to four players, as lost nature scouts, must scale a procedurally generated mountain to escape a mysterious island.
The core gameplay involves teamwork, communication, and resource management, with a focus on stamina management, as slight mistakes can lead to falls and even death. The game features daily map rotations, various biomes with unique obstacles, and a focus on survival mechanics like scavenging for food and managing status effects.
This game has been one of my most enjoyable experiences with friends. It does focus on survival, but there are included fantastical aspects that make this game hilarious. Check it out!
